The UBS Advanced Management Program (AMP) is a professional postgraduate level training program run by UBS-PDC. It currently comprises the BTEC APACD Level 7 in Management Studies.

Graduates of the AMP Program are trained in practical settings, processes, focused on theories, analysis, and their applications, and are able to pursue career enhancements in their workplaces or own businesses.
For those who are first line managers and middle managers, the program provides benefits for career level advancement. If graduates who are interested in further studies fulfill the necessary requirements, they can continue for a ‘top-up’ Master of Science (MSc)   in Management program or Management of Business and Commerce (MBC) at our selected partner institutions abroad.

The AMP Program is perfect for students who wish to elevate their careers, both academically and professionally, to a new level. The program gives you flexible time to gain postgraduate level training and serves as a ‘fast-track’ program to a Master degree (within six months), which helps cut down on overseas study costs. Students can complete the AMP program within 6 months on a full time basis, or 12 months on a weekend/executive class. There are nine modules to complete for the program which is very project and case-study based.

  1. Analyze how change affects your organization and the overall system, and how you should direct them.
  2. Plan a sustainable, organic change and the steps necessary to ensure a seamless transition.
  3. Develop systems and models to understand and involve other parties to buy in the planned change.

• Management Research- Project and Presentation

  1. Conduct a feasibility study to identify and launch a profit-based new product or service.Analyze, plan and execute a sustainable strategy to support launch and achieve maximum profit in least time required.
  2. Cost analysis and resources needed to realize project.
  3. Development an accurate measurement system to evaluate success and effectiveness of strategy.

• Strategic Planning and Implementation

  1. To satisfactorily complete this course, students must develop a feasible management strategy along with the appropriate vision, mission and values to support this strategy.
  2. Execute the planned strategy and evaluate its effectiveness.

• Managing Financial Principles and Techniques

  1. Gather appropriate information for accurate forecasting of future values. Analyze and implement strategic financial evaluation.
  2. Accurately interpret financial statements for proper planning and decision making.

  1. Understand how proper human resources strategy can contribute to overall organization’s goals.
